Malachi can sometimes be seen to just be sitting and watching the sun rise or set without any music but just silence to accompany him. An outsider would worry for his health as he sits deathly still but closes his eyes and basks in the colour and light around him. Although he is well known for his famous parents, it's clear he is a conflicted young man.

Sociable
Malachi is rarely alone since he is well liked within the institution for his sociable ways and the lack of effort he needs to strike up a conversation with someone. He can be a party animal if he needs to be and many people think of Malachi as the perfect wingman in the night life.

Independent
Malachi is one of the most independent people in the place with a strong belief within himself that he doesn't need anyone else's help with anything he does. A common mistake would be to underestimate Malachi in his determination which as many have discovered is a grave error.

OVERALL HISTORY;;

Malachi Howard was born to an A-list mother and a world renowned movie producer of a father. As much as this would seem like the perfect life to live in, it never settled with Malachi and he was always to be an awkward and very complicated child. Malachi hated the thought of having to live where he was born for the rest of his life with everything planned out for his life from his parents that were over controlling on a good day. Although this may sound like he was simply a spoiled child, Malachi didn't believe in the fake holly wood lifestyle that his parents and his younger sister, Kelly were living. He met people who looked like happily married people but were each having affairs behind one another's back.

His parents were more then rich and well off, including the spotlight that had been regularly shone on them and the family, Malachi included as he was the older child of some of supposedly the greatest ambassadors for film. His life was complicated with people close to him only being there because he had money even since he was 7 years old. Parents of other children would drape their young girls over him in hope that they would fall in love which he felt was sickening and slowly ate away at the justice he felt in the world.

His life truly fell apart when he was 14 and Malachi became depressed, much to the notice of the media who broadcasted his sour mood over almost every single tabloid newspaper and gossip magazine possible, which slowly began to deteriorate his family's reputation. His father promptly confronted him about it and afer a week of barely speaking, Malachi came out with a small and weak,

"I've had enough."

Malachi ran away that night only to be found by the local authorities and dragged back to the house he felt was like a prison. His family were ashamed of him and Malachi felt like they could no longer even look at him which was the last straw and he ran away once again to try and leave the country but since he was only 14 at the time he was stopped and questioned. Seeing him as a special instance, Malachi was taken away to St. John's who accepted him to help sort his depression and inability to stay in one place which almost seems impossible.

Malachi is now 17 and has not seen his parents for more then an hour at a time when they visit which is rarely, although they do send the odd card for birthdays and Christmas time. Although Malachi is very popular with the people inside, he has a strong and not so secretive longing to be away from everything, especially his association with his parent's lives.

Unfortunately, no-one really knows why Malachi has panic attacks since he isn't under any panic at the time but rather feels like he can't breath. They sometimes get severe and doctors and sedation have to be used just to get him calm again although it is rare and normally can be sorted by someone helping him get back to breathing.
