I Want To Scream I love You (Malachi)

[CAITLIN MCKENZIE]

Cait has been waiting in the lounge for awhile.She left a voicemail on Malachi's cell,telling him to meet her at the lounge.She just wanted to work things out with him,she didn't want to lose him either.She was so close to lose Peter until she finally talked to him and told Peter that she loved him as a brother.That was it,she loved Peter as her brother but she loved Malachi.Not the fairy tale love,she knew it was the real thing.

It was acturally almost dark,atleast around seven.She thought this would be a good place to talk because no teachers or anyone were around and it was a place for private matter like this.Her and her friends woud usually go here everyday to find something to do and then rhey would end up doing something stupid and then sometimes get in trouble.

Cait hasn't really talked to Malachi face to face in the last few days.She thought that Malachi didn't want to see her anymore,because of the whole Peter thing.But the question that kept popping in her mind was Who told him about that kiss?When the got her hands on that guy,she was going to kick that guys ass because she knew it was probably a person that just wanted to ruin Cait,Malachi,and Peter's life.She jsut couldn't think who would do that.

She made her way over to the couch and sat down.She started playing with the end of her black tank top.She was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a pair of converse.She wasn't really caring how she looked but all she did was play with the end of her tank top,she was acturally a bit nervouse to talk to him because she didn't know what was going to happen.

[MALACHI HOWARD]

Malachi was lounging back on one of the hard chairs of the cafeteria listening to some random guy that had sat opposite him chat on about some latest crap of the television that he had watched and thought was stupid. At least that was what Malachi guessed he was on about, truth be told he wasn't listening. Malachi's mind had been elsewhere for the past few days and more importantly on Caitlin. They hadn't spoke in what seemed to him as forever and it was killing him. He knew they would have to sort it out soon... it was just getting to that point. He liked Cait... no he didn't... he loved her and it hurt him that they couldn't even talk any more.

Malachi had admitted his full feelings which for him was something completely new, but he had yet to hear Caitlin say it. Malachi had had a terrible feeling all week that maybe she didn't and that was why?Malachi grabbed his phone in thankfulness as it buzzed on the table, giving him an excuse to get up from the table and away from the talkative boy who immediatedly turned around and focused on another helpless victim. Flicking the phone open, Malachi listened to the voice mail and he smiled lightly at hearing Cait's high voice over the speaker asking him to meet her in the lounge. If they were ever going to get anywhere, now would be the time. He began walking quite quickly down the halls toward the lounge and hopefully toward Caitlin.

He stopped in the door way, looking at Cait sat on the couch. She was wearing simple clothing but still looked great. She always did. He was also just in a pair of jeans and t-shirt so he didn't think he looked anything to special but it felt right that way. More casual... less formal and awkward. "Hey, Cait." Malachi scratched his jeans clad knee and made his way over to the couch, taking a seat slowly on the other side to give her some space. He chewed on his lip a little before plucking the confidence and turning to look at her. She was so distracting and his eyes dropped a little. Malachi knew he had been a dick to her and that hurt him more then anything. He had promised never to hurt her and to him he felt as if he had failed that. Opening his mouth to speak, Malachi shut it almost immediatedly. He didn't know what to say... he was useless at this feelings crap.

Cait finallly heard the door open and she picked up her head when she saw Malachi walk in.Her heart stil beat faster and she had butterflies in her stomach whem she saw him.Was thishow love felt like?Your mouth gets dry,your hear races and you just want to jump for joy?If that how love felt like,Cait knew she found it.She knew Malachi would be that guy to make her smile,laugh and even cry.She still loved Malachi either way but she was still hurt by him.

She watched as he took a seat on the other end of the couch.Cait's blue eyes gazed at him for a moment.She was about to say something but then watched as he opened his mouth but then close it quickly.She laughed softly but then looked at him. "Im still a virgin.My dad use to beat me.I lived in Las Vegas.I use to hate Peter Walker.Then after I kissed him,I developed a crush on him and then we became best friends.And then I found you..." She said,telling him her secrets and then trailing off at the end. "Then I found you and thats when I knew what love was,and I never got the chance to tell you I love you because we weren't talking,but now I only want to be with you and only you."

She pretty much just spilled out her whole heart to him.Cait was hoping she wouldn't have to take her heart back because she gave her heart to Malachi and she wasn't expecting it back anytime soon.She loved Malachi,there was no doubt about it.

Cait still stayed where she was,looknig at him.She wanted to see what his response was to all of what she said and she was hoping it was a good one.

[MALACHI HOWARD]

Malachi smiled when she laughed. It eased some of the tension out of him and he just loved her laugh. It was light and easy to listen to. Malachi's eyes widened a little when she stated speaking. If there was anything he had been expecting her to say, it had not been that. It took him a moment to figure out what she was doing but once it clicked, he felt much better. Cait was letting him know everything about her... all her secrets. To him that meant she trusted him and he couldn't quite describe how that made him feel. Malachi didn't speak but gazed at her softly with his blue eyes looking at hers. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt him as much as he thought it would when she mentioned getting a crush on Peter since at least they were getting somewhere and he knew she wasn't finished.

His stomach did a small flip as he told him of how she did love him. That too made him feel better considering now he knew he hadn't looked a complete prat when he had confessed his own feelings previously too her. It was mutual. As she was finishing, Malachi looked down at his lap and at his hands which were fidgeting to show his nervousness. It was silent for a moment before Malachi complemented what to say to all those admissions she had just sent in his direction. It needed to be right, he knew that and Malachi wanted to make sure he didn't say something stupid. Malachi cleared his throat and lifted his head, his eyes level with Cait's again. It was his turn. He frowned at himself, he suppose now was the time to tell.

"I'm," he paused before speaking again, "not a virgin." Malachi paused to let that sink in. "It happened a long time ago and I regret it whole heartedly." He honestly did... even more so now he had met Cait. "I grew up in California with a family that had an obsession with appearances." He raised an eyebrow at that... it was understatement if ever there was one. "And I meant it ten fold when I told you I loved you."

Malachi adjusted his seating position and brought a leg underneath him. "In truth, I didn't know how to deal with that... it's never happened to me before. I thought it wouldn't happen to me ever." Malachi sighed lightly and kept his eyes down. "I wasn't mad at you... or Peter. I... was confused." Past tense. Malachi wasn't now. He knew he loved Caitlin and there was no arguing that no matter what anyone said. "But I'm not any more." Malachi looked up properly and at Cait, his heart clenching when he remembered how he had made her cry and mixing it with when she had been so happy when they started dating. Malachi shook his head a tiny bit. "I acted stupidly. I acted irrationally. And I didn't let you explain it before I went off on one." A shy smirk slipped out at that. "I'm sorry about it Cait and I would really do anything to make it up to you because I don't want to lose you." His eyes were wide as he spoke, showing he meant every word. In was one of his worst regrets at not realising he could trust Cait enough to not do anything like had been suggested.

Cait bit her lip,when Malachi said he wasn't a virgin.That made her a bit nervouse.She was thinking if there realationship did go that far.How the hell would she know what to do?It just made her nervouse all around.She has gone far with a guy before but not THAT far.She shivered at the thought of it,of course she would want to lose her v-card someday but she just didn't know when.It made her a bit better when Malachi said that he regretted the whole thing.She didn't know if he was just saying that because she was around or he really means it.She looked at him,and could tell that he really did mean it.

She nodded her head when Malachi said that he was from California.She went there a couple of times when she was little,but she dosn't remeber it that much.All she remeber was that her mom took her there when she was little,because it was only a few hour drive.

Cait couldn't help but smile when he said his family was obsessed with looks.She knew Malachi wasn't that kind of person but she coukldn't help but think that he was a great looking guy and Cait can acturally stare at him for a long time.She grinned when he meant that he loved her.That meant a lot to her.She never told anyone that she loved them because she knew it wasn't real love.


"I just thought,I would never have to tell you because It was like it never happened." Cait said,truthfully when he found out about it.It took her awhile to even remeber that kiss because she just pretend it never happened.

Cait couldn't help but laugh when Malachi said he was sorry.She looked at him,her blue eyes sparkled. "Your forgiven." Cait said,with a smile.But then she shook her head when he said he'll do anything to make it up.She stood up,walked over to him.She sat on his lap,wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

After a moment or two,she pulled away and said "Thats all you needed to do." Cait said,with a smile.

Malachi hadn't failed to notice Cait's reaction to him saying he wasn't a virgin. He hadn't meant it to worry her, rather the opposite. It meant he wasn't obsessed with losing it no matter what since Malachi was more then happy to wait for when she was ready so they could make it perfect. At the moment, he was just happy they were were able to share that information and not feel awkward about it. He nodded at her explanation. He would take it right now, it seemed plausible and made him even more embarrassed that he had over reacted.

Malachi watched as she stood up and he grinned as Cait sat herself down on his lap. Lacing his fingers behind her back, Malachi returned the kiss that was planted on his lips. He had missed the fun nature of Cait and how easy she could react to things. He continued grinning even after she pulled away. "Hmm, I'm not sure. Maybe a bit more of that is needed to show how sorry I really am." Beaming, Malachi leaned up again and kissed Cait.

He didn't feel awkward at all, considering the room was empty other then them. It usually was at this time and this certainly beat listening to some kid chat on with himself about the tv the night before like it actually interested him. No, this was definitely much better. Malachi reached up and tucked a stray bit of hair behind her ear, smiling at her. Cait was beautiful and he still couldn't believe he had almost messed it up. "I've missed you Cait."

Giving her a hug cheered him up quite a bit. She was warm and soft and that was what made it special... he had missed the physical contact with anyone and it had only been a couple of days. "I'm going to take you to California some time." Malachi decided right then that he would in the future. It wasn't to meet his parents or anything like that because he doubted he would even go and see them, "I know all the best spots and you would love it." That meant the non-tourist bits too that people missed but had meant something special to Malachi. He had never showed any one where he used to go and hide... but he felt Cait deserved to.

Cait laughed softly when Malachi made that comment and kissed her again.She kissed him back,sweetly.She couldn't help but be grinning the whole time.She loved the feeling of being near him.She loved the way her face would light up when she saw him.How her heart would race and she was glad to think she might of found the one.She didn't want to move to fast because she didn't want to get way over her head.She had the habit,of thinking of things that she knew could change but she didn't want her and Malachi to change.

She smield when he pulled away and pulled a piece of her hair under her hair.Her big blue eyes sparkled when Malachi said that he missed her. "I've missed you also." Cait said,with a smile her eyes still locked on him.She just wanted to fly higher and higher.She pretty much felt like she was floating on air.Her hands shaked at the thought of love,not like that was a bad thing,but pretty much that she was just excited to be in love.

But then she raised an eyebrow at him,when he randomly said that he was going to take her to California.She just laughed at the randomness. "Really? God,I haven't been there in years.My mom took me there a few times before she died.She would always tell me that I was going to fall in love with a guy from California boy because she use to tell me I would cry when we would go back to Vegas." Cait said with a pause and said "And I guess she was right."

"Best spots? Then I guess you'll have to show me." She said,with a smile. "I would say I would take you to my hometown but im scared to go back,acturally." She said,with a nervouse laugh.Yes,she was acturally a bit scared of her dad still but she knew she would have to fight that fear soon.

[MALACHI HOWARD]

As the kissed, Malachi felt her grinning. It was such a good feeling and it was almost a honour for him to be kissing such a happy smile. He could never resist touching her hair, whether it was to tuck it behind her ear but just too smooth it down. An intense colour, but it suited her light face, his eyes looking at hers which stared at him, almost shining. Malachi let out a grin when she told him of falling love with a Cali boy... well that was true. In truth, Malachi, and probably his parents, never really expected him to fall in love at all. He just wasn't that type of guy but he guessed he had proved them all wrong now.

Malachi nodded when she mentioned the best spots. "Yeah!" He grinned. "You can see the usual touristy parts if you want but that's not the beauty of California." Malachi continued to smile. Whilst his time with his parents hadn't been wonderful, he had always found comfort in the scenery of California when you got out of the Beverley Hills area and where there was no people. Malachi nodded at her almost sombre note about her home town, it made him feel a little bad for bigging his own up not that Hollywood really needed to be. "That's okay." He said genuinely. "We can go when you want... or we don't even have to go at all." The statement left the issue hanging in a way that it showed Malachi didn't mind and that it was completely up to Cait. If she ever wanted to return to where she was brought up, Malachi would be there holding her hand to help her, especially if she was nervous about it.

"You're not alone now." Malachi whispered quietly, his hand smoothing her soft hair again out of habit. He knew he had messed up over the kiss but he hoped it didn't take any thing away from what they had, particularly if Caitlin really did love him like she said since he knew he did.

The momentary silence between the two of them made him acutely aware of what the positions were in how they were sat and he diverted his eyes away and bit his bottom lip a little bit. Malachi knew he couldn't help it, he was a normal boy after all and Cait was a very pretty girl whom he just happened to be in love with. A small blush had made it's way into his cheeks and he kept his gaze away from her. Malachi couldn't resist the small nervous humming he did to take his mind off the current situation.

Cait loved the way Malachi kissed her.She loved everything about,she loved the way his lips formed around hers.She loved the feeling how her stomach would get butterflies when he kissed her.She just loved it,she even loved the fact that sometimes Malachi would play with her hair.She didn't know why but she thought it was cute.But she never met a guy that was so facinated with her hair,which she thought was quite funny.

"Well I love going to the touisty parts because I am a people person." She said,but then a small smirk escaped at her lips. "But.." She said,trailing on. "But,if you are pretty much saying you want a lone time with me,im all for it."She said,with a laugh.That was Caitlin for ya.She does get a bit,lustful if you can say.Rarley does it happen because it only takes the right guy to do that.She never went really far with a guy on the first day.No,she was not a whore.But if she has been dating a guy for awhile,she would let them go a bit farther.But no guy has ever reached the v-card.

Cait always wondered what that felt like.She was still a virgin and was proud of it.She would only let someone take it if she loved them.Wait and who does she love now?Malachi.She took another glance at him,why was her heart racing?She felt,well excited if you can say that.Like an adrenaline rush took over her body.Was this how lust and love mix together felt like?

"We will go one day,its just we'll have to go to the city and not out of Vegas because thats where Im from and that means my dad is around." She stated.Cait wanted nothing to do with her father,she hated that man so much.

The moment of silence was a bit awkward.She could really think of anything to say or do.Until she saw a blush escape Malachi's cheeks.She raised an eyebrow at him.Until she saw the problem.She tried not to laugh.Poor Boy.She thought to herself,she bit her bottom lip,holding in a laugh.

But then she thought she could lighten the mood and well even though it might be hard for Malachi.It would be better than doing nothing.She leaned in and whispered in his ear. "You know,if your this excited I can leave." She said,with a smile and then just being her tease like self.She planted a few soft kisses on Malachi's neck.She jumped off his lap and stood infront of him. "I can leave." She said,with a smirk and taking a few steps back.

Malachi raised a brow at Caitlin's suggestion. "Lucky there's lots of spots that are top secret then." He knew he hated the lifestyle of Hollywood, and he made no secret about his feelings towards it either but it didn't detract his thoughts from the natural beauty. Malachi was all about travelling when he gets older, it was one of his main aims to see the different cultures. He hadn't grown up fond of his current one.

"Sure that's no problem." Malachi grinned at the thought of being in Vegas. He had never been there but had seen it enough of television and what not that it was a top place to be. Lights and lots of money being spilled, perhaps not his favourite past time but quite amusing nonetheless. "Bright lights of Vegas, hey?" Malachi said with another grin. "Just as long as it's not a shotgun wedding." He had turned his nose up a little at that. He was very traditional, bless him.

Occasionally, Malachi would be shocked at Cait's behaviour, in a good way of course. She was so innocent one minute and then the next she could be the biggest tease he ever knew. Malachi was feeling awkward as it was because of his 'reaction' and Cait knew perfectly well what she was doing as he felt her breath on his neck. "You're an evil woman, Cait!" He said back to her as he hopped off his lap and stood a little way away. Malachi was till blushing furiously but it had eased a little when Cait had been so jokey about it. Thank god. It could have gone the other way quite easily if she had wanted it to.

Seeing the situation, Malachi flashed quickly back to when he had had asked her out. Apart from what was making him blush, the positions were reversed last time with him running away from her for a laugh. For a bit of change, Malachi simply rested his foot on his other knee and leaned back into the chair and out on a sigh as if he wasn't interested. "You can leave... if you want." Malachi kept a kept straight face and turned his head to the side to look unruffled by it. Dramatically, he continued, emphasising the first word, "I don't mind."

Cait smiled and said "Love those top secret spots." She couldn't stop smiling,she loved being around Malachi.He just made her smile and laugh.Thats why she loved him and the main thing,thats why she forgave him.Sure,he did hurt her when he took that kiss with Peter so seriousley.But that was a very long time ago,her and Peter were still best friends and well now she had Malachi and no one else that she loved the most.

She grinned when he agreed with her.She just never wanted to go back to her home ever again.She hated the memories,she hated the smell of alacohol inside that house and god knows what.She hated her dad so much but she would always miss her mom who loved her dearly. "Bright lights of Vegas,always on twenty four seven." She said,with a smile.But she laughed when Malachi made a comment. "There are shotgun weddings going on all the time there,its not a big thing." She said,with a laugh.

"You know you enjoy my evilness." She said,with a smirk.She was in a very playful mood and no one was going to stop her.The comments would just keep pouring out of her mouth and she was enjoying every minute of this.But her eyes widen slightly when Malachi said that she could leave.Wow,this was reminding her the first time they kissed.

She just smirked and shook her head. "Ok than fine." Cait said,with a sigh.She walked behind the couch and ran a hand through Malachi's hair and then started making her way towards the door.She had her hand on the doorknob and said "Well Mr.Howard it looks like you are going to be quite lonley tonight."

[MALACHI HOWARD]

Malachi raised an eyebrow and tilted his head a little when she said that it was okay. It was not okay as much as he had played along! She had left him in an awkward position and he leaned his head back on the top of the couch so his eyes could follow her around the back. Malachi shuddered a little as the hand went in his hair. She knew he was extremely ticklish, especially on his head. He had already guessed that she was a playful mood and when that happened there was generally no stopping her. Unfortunately.

Malachi pouted a little as he watched her move to leave the room. He had only been playing and most definitely didn't want her to leave. He loved her company too much and had missed it recently more then he wanted to admit. Crossing his arms across his chest almost like a child, he widened his bright blue eyes at her, aiming for the maximum effect that he could muster up. "But Caitttttt!" Malachi said, expanding her name.

He stood quickly and moved over to her, wrapping his slender arms around her waist and lifting her a little so she couldn't get away, using his bit of extra height to his advantage. "I really don't think so." Malachi shook his head and walked slowly back over to the couch, still holding Caitlin up with a grin. "You're not allowed to leave. His smirk was still present and he placed her on the couch before putting his arms either side of her and leaning forward so they were almost touching faces. "It's against the rules." Tilting his head ever so slightly, Malachi looked at her. "And as much as you think I enjoy your evilness, that's no excuse to run riot, is it?" Malachi shone a big grin that reached his eyes. He could have some fun as well.

Cait acturally wasn't going to leave.She was jsut getting back at Malachi from the time he,started walking away from her in the park.But soon she ran after him and just like now.She turned around when she heard Malachi whine.She laughed and said "Sweetie,this is just revenge from you running away from me in the park." Cait,said with a smile.But soon she turned her head away and then felt his arms around her.She let out a squeal when Malachi lift her up.Sometimes it was bad to be short and tiny. "Hey thats no fair!" She whined and stuck her tongue out.Curse her for being so short.

She pouted when he started walking her towards the couch again.Gah,she hated being so tiny.It was like it was like Cait weighed nothing for Malachi to pick her up,which was totally unfair.She gave Malachi a fake glare when he put her down on the couch.But she raised an eyebrow when he explained that there are rules. "Oh there's rules now? Well I break the rules if you didn't know that." Cait said,with a smirk playing at her lips.

"But its just so much fun teasing you." She said,her eyes sparkling again.Hell ya she loved teasing Malachi,it was just funny to see him react when she teased him.But after a moment she let out a fake yawn,and then looked at him. "The only reason I was trying to run,was because Im bored." Cait said,jokinly.Yes,she did get bored easily but she loved being around Malachi but there really wasn't that much to get bored about.She leaned up a kissed him softly on the lips and pulled back.smirking.

"I know you break rules." Malachi said, amusedly. In reality, he realised it would be probably easier to keep track of the times she did stay in the rules rather then disobey them. It was less to count, anyway. "But, these are special rules." Malachi added with mock seriousness. "There's some like no socks with sandles and stuff," he said with a small eye roll "but then there are others like no running from me." He gave a grin and listened to her speak, noticing the playful look that she had in her eyes. Caitlin was such fun and unpredictable to be around.

Malachi tilted his head and raised his brow in playful concern when she mentioned she was bored. Returning the kiss before she pulled away, Malachi grinned and shrugged. "We can't be having Caitlin being bored now, can we?" He leaned in closer to her smirking face and gave her a stronger and longer kiss, his hand using the back of the couch to keep himself straight. When they eventually stopped kissing, Malachi began kissing along her jaw lightly. He could be a tease as well, who ever said it could only be women? At least he wasn't feeling awkward now. The situation had passed and hopefully would not be brought up again and as much as he doubted that would happen, Malachi knew at least they would be able to laugh about it.

Malachi manoeuvred himself so he could sit on the couch and brought a warm hand to cup her face as he kissed Cait again. It was one of the few times that he actually enjoyed kissing a girl and it wasn't just a formality at being in a relationship, he was in fact having a great time and Malachi hoped Cait was too. She had seemed in a playful mood from trying to walk about and good things normally came out of that game, as shown by when they were in the park a few weeks back now. "Does this improve your boredom?" Malachi pulled back a little and smirked, his own blue eyes glimmering with amusement.

Cait just smiled at him like a little kid when he said that she did break rules.Well she has always been a rule breaker.Even when she was little and stayed with her foster parents.When her parents said don't jump in that mud puddle.She would jump in it.She pretty much did the exact opposite of what her parents told her or what anyone told her.So,yes she was a rule breaker and proud of it. "Special rules?" She asked,with amusement in her voice.Her eyebrows raised when he brought up the fact that she ran from him. "So I get punished from running from you?" She asked,her eyes shining.

Cait then looked at Malachi. Her eyes returned the playfullness.She never really had a want for anyone in her life before.She didn't even know if she was feeling want now because she had never felt like it before.But she could tell she was feeling it.She felt a bit scared because she didn't know what really to do.But then in a moment,Malachi's lips felt hers.But this kiss was different,it was rougher than the other ones and they wernt just pecks on the the lips.They were long kisses.Cait started kissing him a bit roughly.Her mouth forming over his.She loved this kiss,it just felt different.

After they pulled away for a moment,she felt Malachi's lips go along her jaw.She closed her eyes and,sigh softly.Boy,did that feel good and boy was he being a tease to the poor girl.She watched as he sat down on the couch again and still started kissing her again.Her heart raced,her breathing was getting heavy.And now was on her mind was Malachi.When he out his hand on her,she put her arms around his neck.The kiss was getting longer and a lot more pleasureable.But after he pulled away,her breathing was a bit heavy and she looked at Malachi. "Don't...stop." She said,cetching her breath and kissing him again,a bit rougher.
