TAKE THAT LOOK FROM OFF YOUR FACEyou ain't ever gonna burn my heart out Ian laughed, "That's okay, and I'm sure Peter would do it." He shrugged, "I'm sure he wouldn't even mind you pouncing him. From what I've seen of him he's a pretty cuddley kind of guy. I've heard some of his lyrics. They're great, like, seriously. Plus, his voice is sexy as hell." Ian didn't know how a guy could have a voice that smooth, but Peter really seemed to manage it. Some people were just destined for greatness. Ian wasn't sure that applied to him, though. There wasn't much of a demand for artists. At least there wasn't as much of a demand as there was for musicians. Everyone loved musicians, but an artist would have a tougher route to follow. "But I would totally be thrilled to make you guys an album cover if Peter agrees to it."
Ian nodded, pushing a hand through his jet black hair, Seriously," He said with a laugh, "Meercat manor equals brillance with animals." The show was really a bit amusing. Plus it was pretty educational. He looked up to Roscoe, moving a little closer that he could reach up and stroke Roscoe's back gently. "I do respect him a lot." Ian said with a smile. "Roscoe's been with me through thick and thin. More loyal than most humans." Most animals wer emore loyal than humans. Ian had to think that just because of Roscoe. He enjoyed the little guy more than anything. Sure Ian had friends, but as one of his friends had said... friends aren't forever. That statement still hurt Ian every time he stopped to think about it, but he couldn't disagree with Jasper on that one.
No one had ever asked Ian why he had started painting seriously. "Well, my parents never made me pick up a brush. I just sort of saw my dad doing it and wanted to do it too. So I asked my dad to teach me. I didn't start out being serious about it." Ew, next was the hard part. Ian wasn't much for talking in detail about his parents, but he hoped Steven wouldn't push it once Ian got it out in the open. It wasn't like his parents dying was a huge secret... he just didn't talk about it much. "I didn't get really serious until my parents died. Kind of my way of keeping them alive, you know?"
Ian couldn't help but laugh. That beat being all sulky about his parents. "I guess I'm victim of having to grow up a little too early. " He said with a smile. Steven then went into a rant about conartists, which Ian thought was rather amusing. There was a point in there and Ian got it. He didn't think it had been a pointless rant. Most words had more meaning than people were willing to admit. "Yeah, something like that." He said with a smile. "You're very insightful, you know? Sounds like you've really got your mind made up about the world... like you're just incredibly sure of yourself." Ian liked it when people could be confident enough to say what they believed in.
OOC//ew, sorry -.-

Sweet.. he nodded as he imagined how the song would turn out. He was already including Peter, sure he would agree. Ian sounded pretty certain so therefor he wasnt even going to let the chance hed say no into his head. Steven laughed as he said that he was a cuddly guy with awsome lyrics and a sexy voice. Hot damn, the guy sounds hot. Then again I have a thing for singers. I really wanna hear this guy now. If anything Id totally sex up his voice.. he laughed.
It wasnt actually a lie. Wheneve steve heard a voice that really hit him, that could actually turn him on well there was this one time he masterbated to a song because the singers voice seriously turned him on that much. He was so damn easy it wasnt funny.
Steven was nearly bouncing on his feet at the prospect of this all actually happening. It wasnt like it was his dream to do this cover, but whenever he got something in his head he was pretty full on about it. Though that mostly only pertained to music. Nothing else really grabbed his attention as much as music did. No worries, you're hired! he said with certainty.
The meercat manor thing made him crack up again. That.. it is... he shook his head running his hands through his hair. Fuck... I would be a meercat. Those bastards dont even know how rich they are. They better have some serious awsomeness in those holes of theirs. Pimp out their homes.. he laughed. Bet they dont see any money that the show makes.. shakes his head. Thats why they do shows on animals.. most of them work for free. Some are smart... really get their hands in there, but others could really care less. They just are like.. hells yes... someones looking at me oh and giving me attention and... shit is that a treat! Holla! he said and laughed again.
Steven nodded in agreement. How sucky is that.. he sighed with a shake of his head. When people rely more on animals then people because people suck balls he shrugged. Well its a good thing you have rosco. Some people dont even have that when they could really use it the most. his tongue darted out as he absently played with his lip ring again. It was a habit he had.
As Ian explained about his painting, Steven nodded. Oh yeah.. I can totally understand that. but you know... as long as you enjoy it too. Really thats all that matters. Good thing it was art. Imagine if it was something else... like school or.. a degree or something. OR... even taking over the family business. People always get stuck in that because they feel they owe it to their father.. or mom or whatever or.. it makes them feel closer to them, like its the only thing they have left of them but yet they hate it sooo much. I wouldnt want that. Thats just messed up then you're tied down with something you hate and even thinking about quitting sickens you. Anyway... no but yeah.. thats cool... you know.. painting.. he nodded again his hands going into the front pocket of his hoodie.
Steven scrunched his nose up Dont lose sight of your inner kid man. he shook his head and nudged his shoulder with a smirk. Growing up sucks, and even though some end up doing it sooner then others, just... always find some time for your inner youth. Laugh at something stupid... do something you might consider childish. Fart at someone... he chuckled. dont care, but just dont think that once you're grown up... thats it then. cause that would seriously make life .... unbearable to live in and people need to be able to deal with stuff. Suicide can not enter the braini of options. That last comment sent a dark shadow over his face for a brief moment before he covered it up. His hand subconciously rubbing his inner left arm. Comic relief man.. everyone needs it. he said with another bright grin.
Steven shrugged and thought for a moment. I guess... I mean I just say it how I see it really. Theres still a lot of shit out there I dont know much about or i dont know how I feel about, but hey... thats life right. he wiggled his brows at him and then pushed him lightly, playfully.

TAKE THAT LOOK FROM OFF YOUR FACEyou ain't ever gonna burn my heart out Ian laughed, "You should totally look him up, though. I have no doubt you two would get along pretty well. Who knows, hah, he might not mind you sexing up his voice." He bit his lower lip, holding in laughter. Ian could imagine Peter and Steven talking to each other, but he couldn't fathom how extremely random and energetic the conversation would be. Just the thought was pretty hilarious. Ian would have to be sure to ask Peter about it if Steven decided to really talk to Peter about doing cover songs. "Sweet," Ian added when Steve said he was hired, "A job already and I haven't even made it big yet." He said with a laugh. That was good, except Steven was saying this without even seeing any of Ian's paintings. Already in the back of his mind Ian was coming up with different designs for the disney cover album. It would be amazing and Ian would make sure of that.
Meercat Manor... Ian had watched the show maybe once or twice, but he had never really been a huge fan of the documentary show. "I bet you're right. Although, those meercats are probably smarter than they appear." Ian said with a sly smile, "I could imagine them forimg little meercat unions to riot against the unfairness." Not that Ian thought the animals should get cash. It's not like they could use it. But animals rarely recieved proper credit for movies or shows. There were a few that would make it big, but Peter didn't think meercats would be on that list anywhere and Timone wasn't a real meercat. "But I bet that dog that play Air Bud is rolling in cash. There's so many of those movies now." Somtimes Ian just wished they would stop while they were ahead. He thought Space Buddies might take it a little too far.
When Steven mentioned Roscoe, Ian's eyes naturally travelled to the animal. "Yeah, I'm pretty lucky in that reguard. I don't know what I would do without my best buddy." He said with a smile before turning his gaze back to Steven. Ian did think it was rediculous that some people should have to rely more on animals than people. People did have a tendency to be decieving. But Ian was convinced that there were certain people that were just amazing whether they realized it or not. Ian's list mostly consited of people that didn't realize they were as awesome as they were. There was Jasper, who seemed like he was in too much of a depressed state most of the time to realize his potential; Kennedy, who was simply underestimated as a person; and Peter, who whether he realized it or not, was extremely selfconscious. But all of them were people that Ian knew he could trust without a doubt.
Ian nodded, "Yeah, I really enjoy painting so I don't think I'm at a loss. I mean, it's like every painting is an extension of myself. It's like revealing my innermost thoughts as the ultimate visual puzzle for people to solve." He looked to the ground, smiling. "Of course, the thing about art... is that it's not art unless it means something to you. You being whoever is looking at it. Like... I don't consider the Mona Lisa art." Ian said boldly. "Sure, it's a painting, but I mean... I get absolutely nothing from it. So it might be art to someone else, but to me it's a bunch of paints on a canvas." He hadn't meant to ramble on like that. Ian looked back up, his blue eyes sparkling. "Sorry, I really like talking about art." He said with a laugh.
When Steven metioned not losing his inner kid, Ian had to wonder if his inner kid was still floating around in there somewhere. He was sure that it was, but it had been so long since Ian was able to just lay back and be completely mellow and relaxed. Ian had to laugh when Steven suggested farting at someone. Of course, he was a guy. Naturally that would be funny. At the mention of suicide Ian drew in a deep breath. Only once had he tried to ocmmit suicide. Obviously he hadn't succeeded, but still. The thought was a dark one for Ian. He had decided, after that incident, that he still had some things that he could live for. But Ian was glad that Steven picked up the subject somewhere else so that he could give his thoughts a break. "I could try and get in touch with my inner kid again." Ian sad with a nod, "Doesn't sound half bad."
Ian couldn't be more happy that Steven was straight forward as he was. Not many people were like that. It seemed that Ian had stumbled upon a true source of truth. He pocketed his own hands. Roscoe tugged at Steven's hair one last time before mewing and traveling the length of Steven's body to the ground where the furry animal went directly to Ian's shoe, tugging at the shoe laces. Ian smiled and bent down, picking up Roscoe and placing him back in his hoodie pocket.
