everything you need to get going on the site is located here. all the site information is here so be sure to read up on what the sites is really about before joining. you must read everything here.

all of the character information can be found here. the applications are kept here and you can post yours in the pending board. this is the only place a new member may post before being accepted.

all accepted characters will be put here, separated into member groups. feel free to browse through and get to know everyone's characters.

if you can think of a way to make the site better, then feel free to voice your opinion here. this is also the place to go if you have any questions reguarding the site.

be sure to fill out all the claims. you wouldn't want to risk someone claiming it before you get a chance to. reserving is allowed for face claims, but only for a week at a time. after a week any reservations will be lifted. the thread tracker is also loacted here for thsoe people that like to keep track of that.

you can put your relationship plots in here to find out who your character's friends and enemies are. this, again, is not mandatory, but is a nice perk. also located here are the want-ads.

put your cell phone plots and ims here! it's safe to say that just about everyone loves to text and the world wide web is not closed off to anyone! keep up with your friends.

like to keep your innermost thoughts written down? these are private, of course. students are urged to keep a journal, but it is not mandatory. it is a good way to blow off some steam and write down your secrets.

the grounds is a great place for the kids to be lazy and just have a good time. there are tables out at the front of the institute, a small garden area, and a small building set aside, which is the only building in which there is no supervision.

mckinley hall is basically the academic hall. the library is located here as well as a study room so that people may read in peace and not be disturbed too much. there are a few class rooms on this hall where the kids will be taught by a teacher hired by the state of Illinois.

maxwell hall is the artsy hall. there is a music room as well as an art room. st.john's wants to express that they are opening their doors to educate students as well as get them off the streets. expression of culture is on of the ways they like to do that, though it isn't really forced.

spunk hall is pretty much the entertainment hall. this is where the cafeteria is located as well as the school's gymnasium. there isn't much to it, but it probably holds the majority of the school's foot traffic.

the boys dorms are in a separate building off to the side of the insitution. each boy has his own room. no one is expected to share...yet.

the girls dorms are right next to the boys dorms, but are a little bit nicer. each girl will have a room to herself unless rules have to change to save money.

most of chicago's food establishments can be found in a little cluster. there are a lot of places that can't be afforded by kids who are trying to make it in the world without mommy and daddy, but there is enough to be satisfying.

chicago has a very nice park. many have found the benches to be pretty comfortable during the long, hard nights. it's a beautiful park that people like to stroll through during the day to look at the scenery. there is also a lake in the middle of the park that is fit for swimming during the summer time.

the chicago nightlife is really wild. if you think you can keep up with it, then have at it. this is where most kids discover that they can't make it on their own just because of the vast amount of temptations surrounding it.

this is where we lay to reast those unfortunate unfinished and finished threads. use this as a referencing tool so you can remember what happened in old threads. plus, it makes the board look clean, hah!

post your graphics requests here and one of the graphics masters will help you out. or if you are a graphics master and you want to show off your stuff, then post it here.

everyone likes to play their forum games. those can go here as well as random threads of whatever the hell you want to put here as long as it isn't inappropriate (like porn or something). other than that pretty much anything goes. oh, and don't advertise or spam this board.

please post here if you know you are going to be gone for a while. people like to know whether or not someone has just dropped off the site or has just gone for the weekend. let us know so you don't accidentally get deleted during activity checks.
